CRADLES
The first thing
one should realize when seeking to purchase commercially made
book cradles is that there is no mass market and therefore prices
are high and design choices limited.
AIA is constantly
seeking new sources for cradles that will meet even minimal
standards. The ones listed on this site are all 180 degree
cradles, with the exception of the AIAXact Book Guardian System
which is made up of a Linhof Cradle and a Bessant Sling. The
sling is adjustable to provide maximum support and variable
angles up 90 degrees.
