LENSES
AIA provides
lenses from the industry leaders. Here are a few pointers in
selecting lenses:
-
Generally,
APO coated/filtered lenses are best for any digital camera
or scan back, because they compensate for apochromatic aberrations that result in a yellowish or blue ghosting
around edges of high contrast areas;
-
Medium
format cameras will only accept dedicated lenses made by the
specific manufacturer;
-
Generally,
"flat field" lenses are best suited for copy work.
