Equally high demands are made on the manufacturing process, which consists of a perfectly tuned combination of modern computer-controlled production methods and traditional craftsmanship. At the end of each step in the production process, every single camera is given a thorough visual inspection and subjected to a number of electronically controlled tests.

During the course of these tests, the victims are exposed to extreme temperatures and a merciless survival test involving shock and vibration trials that are several times tougher than the camera will ever encounter in practical application.
