A detachable retaining frame makes it possible to copy extra large items, measuring a maximum of approximately 34x50 cm. When not in use the frame can be stored in the bottom of the case, as can the loading plate. |
The LINHOF Book Copying Easel is the ideal accessory for producing copies from books. The design of this unit incorporates all the practical knowledge which has so far been acquired in this special field of application with the result that this easel in its present form can claim to be the best available. All the controls are ergonomically placed and have been so arranged as to insure that even large numbers of different copies can be obtained speedily and with minimum effort. The Book Copying Easel is designed for universal application and is suitable for use with all available types of documentation equipment. It accommodates material up to 30 x 50 cm /14 x 20 in. with a thickness of up to 20 cm / 4 in. Two pages can be copied simultaneously, a built in counterbalance mechanism automatically adjusts for the varying thickness of the two halves of the book so that they always lie perfectly flat against the plate glass cover. The self arresting glass plate cover is springloaded for added operating convenience, an additional pull out retaining frame supports the free half of oversized books and thus allows to copy even extra large items with equal convenience. |
