TTI Reprographic Workstation

Not Pictured: Optional Off-Board Lighting on Matthews Stands

The T.T.I. Repro-Graphic Workstation 3040

Base Frame
Massive guage steel tubing members which form the base are welded for extraordinary ridgidity. The sturdy design minimizes vibrations emanating from the ground surface. Four leveling feet provide initial adjustments to the workstation.

Work Table
The worktable surface is covered with a heavy duty laminate for years of carefree use. Leveling features allow for porallel adjustments to the film or imager plane.

Column
A single piece heavy cluty extrusion provides an extremely rigid upright column which cannot twist or sag. A unique leveling system for parallel adjustments to the work table is provided.

Elevation Carriage
The moving carriage is driven by a heavy-duty motor and lead screw, the preferred method for precision travel. This provides for smooth camera movement ond automatic locking at any position.

Camera Mount
T.T.l.'s exclusive mounting system is designed to provide exceptional support for the camera or scanner. Virtually any instrument can be used with the appropriate adapter to maintain the optical center on-axis throughout the elevation range, a vital detail so ohen overlooked by others.

Control Panel
Safe, low voltage system utilizes push buttons to control both reflective and transmissive light sources as well as camera elevation.

Digital Elevation Counter
Worktable surface mounted digital readout monitors the elevation of the carriage. It is precisely repeatable allowing exact replication of previous settings, a valuable tool in a high production environment.

Elevation Reference Scale
Calibrated elevation scale is printed on the upright column in crisp, easy to read numbers in both inches and centimeters for precise repeatability.

Media Holding System
Media (transparent or opaque) is sandwiched between anti-Newton ring glass for flatness. To insure repeatability, media sandwich is 2 pin registered and masks are precisely fitted.

Reflective Lighlt Source
With most of the heat transmitted out of the back of the lamps and forced away from the operator and work table by additional dynamically bolanced fans, the T.T. I. reflective lighting system provides unrivalled evennessof illumination, and a cool work surface. Since the media is not heated, it does not expand during long work sessions, eliminating the need for constant refocusing.

Transmissive Light Source
Unparalleled evenness of illumination and brilliance is a result of T.T.l.'s meticulous engineering. The highly efficient cooling system was designed to protect any media from heat which causes focus shift that is common with other light sources.
